I don’t usually pay attention to reviews. It’s not that I don’t appreciate people who take the time to read and react to my writing. I just can’t handle the attention, whether it is good or bad. I am absolutely a writer who loves to write, loves that people reads my writing, but can’t handle seeing people talk about my writing. Maybe one of these days I’ll tackle that in therapy. But for now I mostly just keep from looking at reviews or ratings and just stay in my author lane.
However, Essence of the Moon posted their review and tagged me on IG. I saw that she was positive about A Witch Is and decided to give the video a peek. I’m so glad I did. I love that she talks about my book being gentle and has suggestions of activities you can do with it. I think this is my best book to date and I hope that it helps people create a magical practice that is personal and individual.
