Putting it all together

By now you should have gone through all the modules of the Live Your Magic course. This includes engaging in the self-assessment exercises and the hands on experience portions of each module. I hope you’ve checked out at least some of the resources as well. If you haven’t done these, I encourage you to go back and do so as they are meant to be helpful in guiding you through creating your magical life.

And through those exercises you should have done some of the following:

  • started a dream journal
  • chosen a divination method
  • started a daily divination practice
  • created a vision board
  • practiced mindfulness and meditation
  • decided if you will work with deities and spirits or not

Now that you have done those it is time to put what you have learned into an actionable plan for magical living.

Start by going back to your visualization and vision board. See that ideal magical life you envisioned? Take time to expand on it beyond yourself. What does an ideal day of magical living look like? How do you wake up? What do you add to your morning routine to make it magical? Do you choose your wardrobe, jewelry and make up based on your goals for the day? What do you do throughout the day? Are you eating mindfully and with gratitude? Are you moving your body in ways that remind you that it is a wonder? When do you practice meditation or turn to your intuition via divination? What does your nighttime routine look like?

These are a lot of questions, thrown at you in rapid succession, but if you have been doing the hands-on assignments and the self-assessment exercises you should have answers to at least a few of these questions.

Once you have identified your ideal magical day you can put it into practice. You should have built into your schedule time for divination, meditation and mindfulness. You should have a regular journaling practice now where you can record your dreams and intuition. You should have figured out at least one thing you can do in your daily routine to make it magical; whether this is saying affirmations to yourself in the mirror while you clean your face, or stirring intentions into your coffee. Remember, it doesn’t have to be a big, showy act. Small, dedicated habits will enhance your life just as well.

Pick one of the practices that we covered in the course that you will continue for the next twenty-one days. Choose to meditate, record your dreams, do a daily divination pull, be mindful at least once a day, engage in shadow work, practice daily grounding, clean and cleanse your home weekly, or engage in magical self-care. Any one of these activities will get you into a magical mindset.

More importantly, give yourself grace and kindness as you go about building your daily magical practice. You might skip a day or even forget to do what you chose. Build in guides to set you up for success by adding reminders and tasks to your calendar. These can help in the early days to get you into the habit of doing your daily divination pull or your weekly face mask. If you have friends or family who you can share your journey with, talk to them about what you are trying to do. Maybe even set up an accountability group where you and others check in with each other to see how things are going.

If you do forget, forgive yourself and get right back to it. There’s no point dwelling on failures when you are trying to build your practice. Instead, focus on what has gone right, on the times you have effortlessly included these practices into your life. Focusing on the positive in this case will help reinforce the behavior you wish to see in your routine.

And should you find that you just can’t make the practice you picked out work, don’t hesitate to drop it in favor of another one. Some activities just might not fit into your schedule or they might not be of interest to you. That’s okay. The idea is to live your life in a way that is authentic to you, not going through the motions of what you think you should be doing.

I hope you found this course helpful. I believe that magical living is just a matter of deciding what we want our lives to look like and then acting upon it. And so, take a moment to ground yourself, bring that vision of your most magical self to mind, and then go out and make it reality. I believe in you. Good luck and blessed be.
